Yes if you want to stay on 6.1.4 you need to disable thumbnails. Not sure why you hold back, 6.1.6 is coming out soon enough.

I don't know what you mean about updates. NextPVR doesn't install updates on its own.

The updates shouldn’t break anything about your existing scheduled recordings. Happy to take a look next time you upgrade if there are problems.

Could just be my terminology. I call a release from 6.1.4 to 6.1.5 an update.

An in-place update to a new release shouldn't cause your recording to change as the database doesn't change. If you uninstall yes you have to redo everything but there isn't any good reason to uninstall before installing.

Since you are using HDHRs maybe the issue is they aren't getting a fixed IP. NextPVR does have issues with that.

The scheduled recordings are in place after installing a new release. Just something strange with losing connection to the Homerun device. The Homerun is connected to a router so the IP doesn't change. Didn't dig into why so I had NPVR rescan and then rescheduled. Will watch things more closely when there is a lull in new programs to record this summer.
