Using xteve (now threadfin) could make things more of a mess and harder to debug. It is only a proxy so if you feed it the same crap that you feed NextPVR it won't be any better.

Well, like I said it works find on yauiclient, but I really would like to use it on my android tv downstairs.  It sounds like the format won't work with the android yauiclient. I will try kodi I suppose.. suboptimal but its free, so I shouldn't complain.

Hard to say what will work. In your logs you didn't try and play a channel with uidroid that had a good URL in the m3u.

OK so, kodi works, but audio doesn't play and video is horrendously slow. all other clients fail to work. Without a patch to allow them to work with chrome capture they fail. YAUIClient works on windows, but its suboptimal because it runs on the same pc as the renderer so it can be slow as two streams are being watched at once. It would be great if YAUIClient worked the same way on android as it does on pc. I really would prefer to use NextPVR over forking over 8 dollars a month for channels. Do you think it can be patched to work across the board?

Why don't you simply provide logs showing uidroid failing on a good URL and I can see if I can help. Only after that I will look further if you can provide a 5 minute sample recording to test stored externally not posted here.

You can use yauclient to connect to remote NextPVR servers if you follow the documentation it doesn't need to be localhost. However if chrome capture needs heavy resources it doesn't sound like a great solution.

Ok so update... Yauiclient still fails on android but subs official app seems to be working (at least with my CBS) I'll post logs tomorrow.  I also had to create an extra script to rerun the node script if it failed..for some reason changing channels makes chrome capture fail.

It won't be a good url as I am running chrome capture which I assume throws it off a bit. It works on PC just not android but I'll post logs tomorrow

No the few log entries I saw with uidroid where not failing when uidroid they failed connecting to a server.  No client could play them.  I want to see a  log where it connects to a server and then uidroid fails.

OK, so it looks like they do play, it just kills my chromecapture. I created a bat file to reboot the chrome capture, which works, but i have to load it twice.  Can you seperate the ones that work from ones that dont?  It worked at least half of the instances. I also posted log file of chrome capture.  So it does work, it just crashes and has to reload.  Maybe more seconds can be added for the timeout?  I can record a video.  A sketch app called xstream iptv or something like that has ads but plays the m3u from chrome capture flawlessly with zero crashes.

I still haven't seen the curl output to see if it is possible but looking at that I suspect you are going to need to use an extra (or many extras) to play the streams that work without the HEAD support in the server, the long delay streaming and the foriced transcode. I am not sure if you tried what I posted here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid593847 since you are still not using CPU.

I won't support you creating extras but I did months ago give you an idea of how to do this https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid587163

I will run the curl output for you today.  Do I run it in out of c:\program files\npvr?
