Can you supply your npvr.db3? I what to see what happens with your database at the very start of the scan:

Sub he rescanned afterwards and got a good tuning plan for DVB-S so the database won't help, likely a remnant from the beta.

Then problem now is why DeviceHost failed here and didn't continue I figure if he uses Freesat that might not matter for now.

Code:

On the Settings->Channels screen, does it show the EPG source for these channels as Freesat or DVB EPG?

The tuning plan there seems to indicate DVB EPG.

When requested I'll post logs all day if it helps resolve an issue.
Ultimately, I'm not in UK and don't have access to these signals, so there is some guess work involved. We had a user confirm Freesat/OpenTV EPG on a non-SAT>IP device during testing, but he was on Windows not Linux, so not quite the same setup as you.

Yes that's always been an issue trying to fly in the dark. I did offer to stay with you on this issue after you resolved the 7 day EPG issue for the DVBS Sat/IP tuner in both Windows and Linux. I did supply the details you requested to resolve the DVBS PCIe tuner and assumed you had everything you needed.

If there's any other logs, scans, file etc you need just list them here and I'll supply them.

I'm trying to deploy a properly curated mux file for Astra 28.2 for scanning purposes but it's not showing as available in scanning option in NPVR. I placed the file in the /opt/nextpvr/system/data/tuning/DVB-S so there should be no reason why it's not showing as available.

It needs to be in /usr/share/dvb/dvb-s

That custom tuning file location is for SAT>IP and Windows scans

I do have a utility that creates a conf or ini file for the boquet and regions here https://www.satellite-calculations.com/D...Number.php it helps

I created this mux file with all the correct settings for active muxes on Astra 28.2. In order for NPVR to use it what folder do I need to place it in.

No where, Linux scanning needs conf files for DVB

No one bothered with my thread on trying to improving this but I will attach the conf file from flysat (your preferred source) this is filtered for FTA and Europe.  As noted above I can create one based on bouquet and region if you want something filtered further as I mentioned earlier

I also have can convert an ini to conf file, but I like filtering out the African channels.

Note I can't test these so my utility might need tweaking.

Martin
