Stopping recording

I have gbpvr V 0.94.12 and WinXP/SP2. I can't find the answer to my question in the manual or elsewhere.

Question: Sometimes, I desire to stop or kill a recording before it naturally finishes. What is the correct, or best way to stop recording without breaking something? I want everything to work for the next scheduled program.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you go into "recordings" then "Pending recondings" you will see your show as "now recording" you should be able to select it and pick "cancel"
