I regularly seem to get this error, even when things are working well.  I am assuming the recording was scheduled with my Hauppage tuner.  Then, I changed to HD Homerun with separate antenna feed specifically for the channel as it was not tuning well on my Hauppage antenna feed.  This would make the service think that the "channel was not found".  I just want to confirm this.  I have since added an RF filter and re-positioned my antenna to support all tuners with the same channels.  I can almost get 40 mile range with my indoor antenna.  So, hopefully this fixes the issue.  I just wish the system would do a check and notify me ahead of time if possible that a device or channel is no longer available for a given timer under conflicts.  Ironically, even my "discontinued" Recast device is failing to retrieve guide listings for some channels.  So, Recast is no longer a backup for important football games.  I guess I will be running two NextPVR devices now to have a backup.

I am just happy most of my recordings are working.  I have been checking periodically with my cellphone that NextPVR service is running to try and catch things earlier before it misses multiple days of shows.  If I set the service to start again after a failure, Windows still is not able to keep it running.  I am not sure what settings to use for recovery tab to remedy this.

Unfoturnately the logs are helping me figure out how your scheduled rules are working especially for Let's Make a Deal.

I fell your database has some issues though mixing WOIO-DT and WOIOHD and I expect rules with WOIO-DT won't work. We'd probably need the database to check.

I decided to just redo everything, so I have new database.  I now am getting every channel within 40 miles from my house.  The only thing is that the harder to tune channels seem to take a second longer to lock a signal and may fail occasionally with the "failed to lock a signal".  My coax filter seems to be helping with the SNR, when I checked HDHR Tech application.  I don't trust all the time, so I usually tune every channel in NextPVR to be safe.

Do you have any posts tagged where I can find any new information on newer settings in config.xml?  I usually only change <StoreEnsembleMetadataXml>true</StoreEnsembleMetadataXml> so I can use the metadata in MCEBuddy to use xml data to add to file metadata and create .nfo for Kodi.

Thanks for all your help.  I have surgery Wednesday, so I am trying to test everything out to find any issues ahead of time with setup.

No one is maintaining any guides to config.xml I decided to document a few newest ones https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid596761 but those won't apply to you. If you are using Kodi turn off thumbnails and timing there are threads here on what you need to do to turn them off.
