Can you check if this updated dll fixes this 999 issue?

I might have called it system.bak but you should see whatever it is with the ls command.

Yep, system.bak. That's a bit embarrassing, I completely missed it.

The new UI is really designed for a new generation of users. You probably should turn on immediate skip in config.xml to avoid just moving the dot for me that fixes most of the confusion introduced in v7. Thanks Martin for that, i will look into testing v6 to see if v7 has been the cause of my own problems

It makes no sense to backtrack if we don't get the logs. Almost all the known issues have been with Windows server and usual complaints about NextPVR.exe after any version upgrade, plus there are improvements for 7.0.1 than are available just pending some more Windows testing. (2024-12-08, 06:42 PM)sub Wrote: Can you check if this updated dll fixes this 999 issue? I can confirm that you fixed the UI toggle from auto skip to no skip in real UI clients. I had to hunt down this thread https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid531630 which as you note does depend on client not really NextPVR. The missing piece for me is what is the keystroke to send to skip to the commercial break with auto skip is off. Most new remotes don't have designated play key and the arrows open thumbnails or direct skip so most of my clients send Ctrl-O. I can confirm that client that send Ctrl-P will skip the com break too. There was also this solution https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=63387 but it seems Ctrl-O could be hardcoded. So for this specific item there is not any issue with v7. Sub, I think seeing your quick response to a previously unreported problem (or perhaps we missed it ) makes me frustrated with users who think going back to unsupported software is the best approach to deal with problems. Thanks for your hard work. Martin |
