I uploaded one day of XML that will not display in the web browser: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19YbJcHt...drive_link
I've run it through XML parsers that say it is fine, so can you tell me what is wrong with it? I can' find anything wrong. Tivimate displays it, as does NextPVR UI Client. I inspected the web client HTML code, and its not even outputting the <div> for the program guide, so something internal is choking on something causing it to skip the channel and move to the next.

The XML is fine and imports into NextPVR but then NextPVR isnt encoding it right for the json api
The junk is embedded HTML markup in the EPG which shouldn't be there in the first place and is certainly unplanned for. Let sub deal with it. Martin
Can you give me the line items of the HTML that you are seeing or examples please? I'll take this back to IPTVBoss
In the file I just gave you I don't see any <, >, etc.. it is clean "sub"? who is sub? ITPVBoss?

I am not home to check. Sub is the author and sole developer of NextPVR. I gave an example of what was causing problems earlier.

Actually waiting for my wife it was easy to find the junk
Quote:selection of bizarre facts and occurrences, including how deadly poisonous frogs can save lives and why people have a tendency to see faces in everything. Plus, the woman whose pants spontaneously burst into flame. Category: Education/Science/F"])</script><script>self.__next_f.push([1,"actual Topics/Factual S1 E5</desc> Clearly that is bad parsing of the genre Martin

So they don't use add junk to the description they add it to genres
Code: . and the icon source too Code: <icon src="https://tv.assets.pressassocia"])</script><script>self.__next_f.push([1,"tion.io/47ab6f16-f97d-593d-bcc0-5d1075d3da3f.jpg"></icon> Martin

Sub has fixed the JSON encoding for the next release (it was the genres). If there is any doubt about why I call it junk here is what it will look like until the scrapper is fixed.

Yeah Martin is correct. This XMLTV file is full of garbage. You'll need to get that fixed before NextPVR can display clean descriptions etc.

This partial EPG listing since I updated to v7 is driving me nuts. |
