Limitations to VOD groups

If one of you can post the logs, I'll take a look. I can typically see things in the logs that you can't.

Strangely, I changed the SortVOD switch to false in the config.xml and I got a very different list of groups! But instead of ~112, it only returned ~70.

I check the DB and all the content is importing, it just isn't rendering.

Do your m3u files have a tvg-id on VOD?

I did discover that the VOD groups that are displayed change based on the "Sort VOD in alphabetic order". This setting does not only affect the order of the VOD titles displayed, but the groups themselves. I was told in another topic working on an issue with VOD downloads and FF/RW/RESUME/duration, this is because there is a hard coded limit on how many VOD titles can be displayed (6000 entries).

I know there are many TV series VOD entries from my provider PLUS movies that total WAY over that limit. This is probably the same with @thedoctor916

Hummm...sorry, for some reason I didn't get notified of the replies.

So, it look like two issues you have confirmed (sort issue and group limit).

Will this be added to the dev list?

There is no limit on the number of VOD items imported. The web page was limited to trying to display the first 6000 items per group in the dropdown though.

I've removed the limit for the next build...but we're talking pretty crazy numbers at that stage.
