I have checked the product version of the DLL I copied in - it's 1.0.0.0+342f...

Not sure what you meant by an external link - sorry, so just added the db.

Uploaded somewhere other than this forum. OneDrive, GoogleDrive, Dropbox etc. NextPVR version don't update so just check that you unzipped and copied correctly.

So I checked the correct dll, NShared.dll, was copied into \xxx\c\Program Files\NextPVR - it was.

But I then realised there was the same dll in \\xxx\c\Program Files\NextPVR\client so, I copied it there.

I rebooted.

Then, as a test, thru the web UI I selected "EastEnders", tonight's episode (never recorded before) and clicked "Record Series".

The programme was added to Recurring but not Pending! I then cleared the EPG and rebuilt it.

When complete, I checked pending - nothing for that series!

I then copied the database - here is the link to that database.

Again thanks for your time, much appreciated.

Ok so the problem channels in this particular EPG update are

[DEBUG][7] 7890 WildEarth '↓', hexadecimal value 0x19, is an invalid character. Line 17, position 148.
[DEBUG][7] 7892 Rewind TV '∟', hexadecimal value 0x1C, is an invalid character. Line 323, position 72.
[DEBUG][5] 7942 RNIB Connect '↓', hexadecimal value 0x19, is an invalid character. Line 88, position 88.

Sub is probably going to need a one minute full mux from his TS Capture program https://tscapture.com/ for the Rewind tv frequency to see if he can solve this encoding issue that has been going on for year. The problem episode of Department S will probably not be showing after the 29th so it will start working again, so the capture will be needed today.

Out of curiosity I just tried setting a series recording for Eastenders (never recorded before only set as a test) and all worked as expected, episodes in the epg are marked in red, Pending shows all the upcoming episodes and Recurring shows the series
I'm running the latest NPVR version on a Win 10 PC and the test series record was set using thw Web gui from an android tablet using Chrome browser. EPG is the standard UK OTA which has a full seven days of data for all the channels I use.

This particular bug would be channel specific. Do you have Rewind TV or WildEarth mapped?

Sorry only just seen these later posts. I was waiting for the email notification which didn't come. I do have those channels mapped but quite happy to unmap them if that would help. To my knowledge, I have only recorded from REWIND not the others.

I don't quite understand what's going on now. I just tried the Eastenders Series again in Chrome (as Jimi used), rather than Firefox, it worked as expected. Then I tried in Firefox and again it worked! Tried another series and it too worked. Not all the Recurring are in the Pending but newly created series do seem to populate the Pending. So starting to think it was just a nightmare and I am waking up. I am investigating more.

Well all seems fine now! Was I going mad or has something been fixed on the NextPVR server?
Thanks all.
