Sounds exactly like a cache issue to me too bad you can't find out how to reset or remove it.

Unfortunately it's back to not working.
Here you go. A freshly compiled newzap2it.exe for all the windows users. Gracenote and user agent corrections applied.
Cheers Gee, I'm trying to attach a .zip file to my post, it's not going through. Sorry guys, not good. Here is a link then:Newly compiled zap2it.exe (2025-06-20, 01:39 AM)antidot Wrote: Here you go. Disable your antivirus crap, the file is clean. It's one .exe file zipped for sharing.
Cheers

I personally don't trust antidot's file either.
A possible solution for some users that I posted about in the other EPG thread... If you use an HDHomeRun, you can extract the EPG into xml. I set this up the other day and it works perfectly - only 2 minor issues: 1. All shows are marked as "NEW". However, the author is aware and a fix is being worked on. You can also uncheck the "New" flag in NPVR settings. Not sure how this will affect series recordings. 2. Can only extract 7 days worth of data, but not really a big deal. In the longer thread I warned about using random tools to save money to address the zap2it issue here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid600485 I expect that the same issue is relevant to users with mc2xml. To be fair to antidot I often find that compressed exe will generate some false positives. But certainly a first time user's post need to be considered.
You can also use my HDHRGuide program with NextPVR to get the guide data if you have an HDHR. I need to research about getting more than 1 days data from it without a subscription. NextPVR needs to trust the XMLTV generator to support the new flag. Martin

Sorry guys, I created a user name just to make this post, and help out fellow MCE users out there. Instead of throwing a cake into my face by posting a false positive by your antivirus software, you could have thanked me for the effort or at least asked a question, as opposed to shooting from your waist.
Use it or not, I don't care. I know a lot of people have been asking for a new(er) zap2xml.exe that does the job, and nobody seemed to be able to port the .pl file into a windows .exe . I took the the time and effort last night to do it, so here it is. If you know computers the way you know how to post screenshots of false positives, use a proper firewall program, and you'll see that my file only goes to gracenote.com, BECAUSE it is ported from the .pl file publicly available on lots of forums. I had a false positive on my computer trying the exctract it from the .zip file, as a test run, before posting. No idea why. Maybe the perl compiler has a code that triggers the A/V false positive, I have no clue, I'm not a programmer.

I appreciate your effort. I am not attempting to label you negatively. Virustotal is a website that allows the scanning of uploaded files or the URL's of files. Also, it does not work. |
