Version 0.22.7 missing a lot of recordings

Ugh, I really don't want to uninstall and reinstall (again! so I guess I'll just wait. The last version I was running before this was v20, I think (20.5?) and that had no problems.

Also getting back to jsouza's thread, he had mentioned that some of the recordings were conflicting which may be throwing off the ones that aren't conflicting. Well there's a South Park that would air this coming monday that is conflicting with another program, perhaps that's throwing off some of the other recordings, who knows.

Not to sound pushy but do we have an ETA for the next release, which I presume will primarily be a bug-fix release? lol

Hopefully it'll be in the next week.

No, its not a bug fix release. I'd actually been thinking things had been quite stable, so in this release I've been focusing on adding new functionality (and probably new bugs). I have fixed a couple of things, like manual reoccuring recordings which had some problems.

As I said, I've not fixed your season record problem for the next release. I have added some logging messages to help us understand what is happening.

Ok, well it's a start, hopefully once we tack down what the problem exactly is we can get it fixed quickly. If there's a new version coming next week perhaps we can call it the "turkey release"

I just took a few minutes to compare my scheduled program list in GB-PVR with the actual program listings of upcoming shows that I have scheduled to record reoccurringly. GB-PVR is definitely missing several to many of episodes of each.

Feel free to do some leg work and try and work out what causing this to happen.

One common thing I've seen is slightly different show title, but there could be other reasons I havn't come across yet. There is also a rule that says 'dont schedule the episode if we have already completed recording with the same zap2it episode number'. Being in NZ I dont use Zap2it, so this may have something to do with the reason my scheduled recordings seem to work reliably. Here we dont have episode numbers, so every episode is considered new. The next release prints out these episode numbers and some other info as it tries to find any shows matching the season recordings.

If you leave your reoccurring season recording inplace but delete each of the pending episode recordings, then start the config programme and click the 'update EPG' button it will try again to find any matches. If you can get a nice reproducible set of steps for a specific show, then I'm sure I can correct it. If not, it'll probably stay like this.
