No recording file created

Hi all,

Im new to GBPVR. When I schedule recordings or do quickrecordings a folder gets made where I set the recording folder. But no file gets created inside it ?

BTW... made my own xmltv grabber and Im using that file for the schedule. The schedule seems to be 100% ok.
I also needed to install all the channels by hand into the mdb file if that matters...

Anyone know whats this is about ?

What sort of capture card do you have? Its sounds like its not set up correctly to be able to record. Reproduce the error then email the logs from c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr to me at support@devnz.com

That probably means you roll-your-own grabber is not generating the correct format files. You can email me a sample file if you want me to tell you what is wrong with it.

Can someone help me out as well. I am trying to use the dvd2mpeg plugin and this is what I get towards the end of the process.

I'm getting that, but if you run cutterman manually it does stitch them together (although I also have to kill the process and clean up after it's finished. The final MPEGs are fine though.

Having said they are fine, they are 16:9 rather than 4:3 letterboxed (which is how I need them) Anyone know of a trick for that? (I would start a new thread but can't register for some reason - if a mod would like to split this post into a new thread as well then please feel free)

Also new to trying this, but I just dragged the video file (.mv2 or m2v, the big one) onto cutterman, then did the same with the MP2 (It does a load of processing here, so be patient)

You can then view the film in the window to check sound sync and such like, but go to the start of the film and click "set cut in", repeat with set cut out at the end of the film and press add range, then cut video and audio...
