October 2025 Windows update breaks NextPVR (Resolved)

If you haven't installed them yet I would pause your Windows updates until more information is available. I will try updates when they come out, fortunately I only use Windows for testing so it doesn't hurt my production servers.

All is not lost.  Apparently today's update to Microsoft Defender https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/defenderupdates  Version 1.439.218.0, which I had in my updates today fixes the issue.  Try it before uninstalling.

I am in the process of updating KB5066835 and will report back.

After a long download and multiple reboots reinstalling the large update NextPVR is back in business.
