Thanks, next time I''ll make sure to run the setup program as Administrator. Will do this next on the main testing PC. (The "official" NPVR PC will be the one that wife uses, when the time comes.)

Joram, you could let us know if this updated NextPVR.exe helps.

Thanks @sub, "real life" got in the way since the last time I posted, but I will give this a try and report back by Thursday.

Much appreciated!

Got a chance today to install the new version, then tried scrolling through the program guide. No issues, looks good -- thank you very much!

Actually I'm not sure that I'm doing (or have ever done) this correctly: the version info seems to be unchanged from 1.0.0.0. The instructions given here don't specify where the newly downloaded version needs to be located on the computer when it gets run. If I downloaded the Zip file to (say) the Downloads folder, do I extract and then run the .exe from there or do I copy/move the extracted .exe to the client folder where the previous .exe resides, thus overwriting the previous version?

Or is it NPVRSetup.exe that needs to be run again? And in that case, where should the new NextPVR.exe be located when that happens?

NextPVR.exe is not versioned so that is all normal. It will be one of many parts of 7.0.5 and thanks for confirming you couldn't easily duplicate the issue.
