I suspect an issue with your XMLTV file. If you can provide an external link we can have a look
Or up set up a time slot recording and turn off avoid duplicates. Martin

Yes it is your guide data saying everything is S2026 E1
<episode-num system="xmltv_ns">2025 . 0 . </episode-num> This should be a unique identifier. Looking at the easyepg source that may have created it this is a bad assumption https://github.com/sunsettrack4/script.s...pg.py#L382 I would go to your Kodi install and change the "or" in this line to "and" https://github.com/sunsettrack4/script.s...pg.py#L378 and then raise an issue on GitHub. I raised an issue on GitHub regarding this problem. The developer of EasyEPG has responded and agrees that it may be an issue on his side. He will find a solution. I'll pass on your advice to help them fix it! Many thanks to you! You're great as always! Nextpvr and the team behind it are the best! I will wait for the developer's fix and keep you posted. The developer of Easy EPG has changed something in the service, but the result is still the same. All programs are marketed as series. Could you take a closer look to see where the error could be? I gave the correct fix already. The should never fake a s/e pair it makes no sense.

Hi Martin,
I will discuss using your fix with the developer of Easy-EPG again. I gave it to him already, but he never used it because he doesn't think the issue is on his side. I will try my best to get it done. I will keep you posted. By the way, if NextPVR could give me that function, I would get rid of this mess! Thank you for your assistance.

It’s more and more a nightmare! Here is the answer of the developer of easy-epg on your advice to fix it. https://github.com/sunsettrack4/script.s.../issues/32 His answer: “That "fix" won't change anything. The nextpvr dev should take a closer look at your latest XML file.” “And if you open your file, you would see that there are no episode-num tags for movies and news broadcasts.” He mean the file I post yesterday. I don’t know how I can fix that mess. Sorry to stress you but it seems nobody beside you is willing to help.

I am away and on phone only so if there is a change sub will have to explain why it doesn't get recorded rded. Otherwise turn off duplicate checking if your guide data is not good enough to support it.
