Hey everyone,
I want to preface this by saying I am very satisfied with GBPVR, I bought a whole bunch of hardware with the intention of using mythTV, turns out the hauppauge drivers for my VIA KM400 chipset don't work on linux, thankfully there is GBPVR.
Unfortunately my SK43G's internal s-video OUT only fills up about 95% of my screen, giving it a thin 5% border, I hope to buy a new card when I have some money to fix this problem, but I noticed that as of yesterday there are three white dots that appear in the top right hand corner.
After doing some searching I heard mention of closed caption hidden by overscan, but I don't believe that this is the case, because they appear both during television playback, and the playback of DVDs, but only inside of GBPVR.
I have my playback settings to use the default decoder and player for all instances....anyone have any ideas?
Thank You -
Danny.
Also, I hope to get a picture of my setup online for you guys, is there a thread where people have done this? I'm actually pretty proud about how everything looks.
