Scheduled Recurring recordings tend to accumulate endlessly and can use some periodic house keeping.  But as currently listed, that is difficult.  It would be nice to have some control over the sort order.  For my purposes, listing them alphabetically would be helpful because I could at least see duplicates that may be redundant or obsolete.  But it would sometimes also be handy to sort by "Recording type".  That would, for instance, group all of the "New Episode" scheduled recordings together and I can delete any I recognized as cancelled shows that won't ever have a "new" episode again.

Thanks

You didn't specify which client you are using, but if you use one of the UI Clients (including the Web UI Client), you can go to the Scheduler (then probably press the right arrow to switch from Pending to Recurring), and then you can use the Sort menu at the top to switch between sorting Alphabetically (ascending or descending) and sorting by Priority (ascending or descending).

I'm not aware of any way to sort/filter for Recording Type.

I would also add that I have long wished that Recurring Recordings had a field to track the date of the last matching recording that could be sorted on. That way we could easily see which Recurring Recordings haven't been seen/matched in a long time (i.e. "New Episode" entries where the series has ended or shows which are no longer being aired at all, etc.).

I'm using the web UI.  But I see no Sort menu.  Just a "Listed in priority order" statement next to the drop-down window for choosing between Pending and Recurring.

Use the UI client view from the web player the settings page to get the name sort. It's also available for Kodi. I looks like with a trivial change I can give a date order in Kodi.

Martin.

For the next version, recurring has more options, on the web, and UI client's date is working.   I don't delete mine because I do a lot of testing too but you get the idea.

I didn't add a sort for All New Episodes but looking at the name you should be able to tell if the show is cancelled.

Martin
