Has anyone tried the latest official drivers from the Hauppauge support site (2.2.23257)? They were just release on 10/14.

Wouldn't it be nice if they put release notes on there support site Smile.

Here is a link to there support site for the PVR 150:
http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/s...vr150.html

I suppose that I will be upgrading the drivers today and will give you all my impressions.

Strange that the base driver is 23258 and then you have to run an update exe version 23257. Odd.

Extract from latest prerelease version's release notes (I've included the entries for everything since the last release version 23209).

I've tried these drivers and had problems with the timestamp on my recordings. See this thread.

I ended up reverting to the drivers that came on CD with my card to correct the problem.

I tried the new 150 drivers with a fresh install of XP and GBPVR 9413 and had problems as well. Recording service would cause an exception and crash every time it started a recording. The recording actually starts and does record but the recording service dies. I see others have had this issue with earlier but recent drivers too. I had installed the new codecs too - maybe this is causing the problem ?

Also one channel's audio volume was much lower than the other. Installing the old drivers off the install CD resolved both issues for me.

It means they've started tidying up the code to get ready for making 64bit drivers in the future. No 64bit support at this stage though.
