After my initial install debacle things work pretty much like you say. It's interesting to look at how different authors like things sorted. While this music player does all you said the way it lists things drives me nuts. I've been very metucilus about tagging all mp3's on the system with correct info etc. For some artists, things work great. for others, they can be all over the place. For example any artist that does a duet or two gets listed many times depending on how many others they sing and play with. My wife's classical collection is just nuts. Every orchestra plays with many guests players or guest conductors those all get listed seperatly. It makes it impossible to find anything, especially those things that were all in the same album and still are but are listed by seperate artists now. For example my wife is an opera and musical buff. she has hundreds of recordings. However since it's often listed in the ID3 tag in artist as the person who did that particular peice, all those recordings get broken up by artist and it's impossible for her to play a musical in tact or even find a peice within if she's forgotten who sang it.
Just an observation, take it for what it's worth.
