Tuning assistant finds freqs no picture

Hi There,

I'm trying to setup the fequencies but still no luck. I have set up the reqs in the registry with freqcopy. result is only snowy images.
When i use the Tuning assistant it finds freqs, but don't show them. When I enter the freq into the registry, still no good image.
With Win2000 eveything works fine. I use a Hauppauge 250 with radio tuner.
Can anyone give me some steps to check?
I've been reading the wike and forums for hours but still no luck

If you *do* know the frequencies, you can enter them directly into GBPVR's config app. You enter them *instead* of channel numbers in the capture source configuration. You enter them full blown, that is 250 MHz should be entered as 250000000. I cannot help you on finding out the frequencies, though... can't you get win2000 to tell you somehow? I think it does if you change to "preset" mode instead of channel mode. Otherwise I suppose you should be able to get your cable provider or broadcaster to tell you which frequencies are used.

Thanx Stephanfor the answer. I appreciate your reply. I do know the frequencies and when I enter them into GBPVR's config app I don't get the right pictures. I useing cable (multikabel) in the Netherlands. Is is possible that the freq numbers are shifted somehow? When tubing assistant finds a freq and I enter that freq into the config app still the same result. What to check?

Sorry, I don't know. You should be able to just enter them in the config app...

One thing worth noting... In the current version, the tuning assistant is showing the frequency for the previous channel test, so dont rely on the frequencies shown during the scan. This is corrected in the next build.
