[Newbie help?] : Trouble with snippet of looping video?

Yes, the first one, then the channel names from your EPG are in the left column, and the tuning request for that channel name is in the right hand column. I assume you've got some EPG data loaded ?

For each channel name if the left column, If you click on the tuning request in the right hand column you get a drop down to select the channel found when scanning to the EPG channel, i.e my EPG data has a channel name "BBC3" in the left column mapped to a scanned channel name of CBBC in the right hand column.

In the "TV Guide" section of GB-PVR, I see programmes for most channels I have selected, so I guess I have the EPG data

We must have different setups somehow, or different releases. I can't find a dropdown

I can create Channel Name="BBC3" by using the Add button, and typing it in. Then the only way I can find to put Tuning Request info next to it is to copy&paste from the row for Channel Name="CBBC Channel". But it doesn't get saved

Thanks anyway. I'll try to get a fix for my main problem before I tackle this again, unless there are any suggestions where I'm going wrong

Just a comment/thought : In post #11 when you said "the first one", I assumed you made a mistake

If you really did mean that (window headed "Digital Channel Mapping"), then I apologise

...But in that window I don't have any column that displays Tuning Request, just columns for Channel Name and Enabled. There is a 2nd sub-window with "Channels found during scan", and a 3rd sub-window showing the video of whatever was selected in sub-window2

Yes, the digital channel mapping window, I'm using the XMLTV Radio Times grabber for EPG data & mine looks like this :-



If you don't have that tuning request column I'm a bit stumped :confused:

Yeh, I gave up on the broadcast EPG, it didn't appear to work but that could have been a result of my own impatience/incompetence

Thanks - that seems to have worked. Certainly I have BBC3, BBC4 now anyway

I'm going to repost my main issue (looping video when changing channel) on a new thread, with a bit more info, because it may have got lost here
