************** Exception Text **************
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: File or assembly name NativeUtilities, or one of its dependencies, was not found.
File name: "NativeUtilities"

I get the above error with version 9413 on Windows 2000 SP4. The "solution" indicated in the release thread (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=8949) was to install Windows Media Player 9. I abhor WMP, especially V9. Is there some other way to resolve this error? Can the dependency be removed? Otherwise, what is the last version of GB-PVR that does not have this requirement?

It requires Windows Media Player 9. There is no way to avoid this. I cant remove this dependency, since I need Windows Media Player for various features inside GB-PVR.

Which features? I know they are new, because older versions of GB-PVR worked. Can they be dynamically enabled?

Do you know the last version without the dependency?

The dependency was introduced in v0.94. You're welcome to use an older version than this, but keep in mind you'll be stuff with this version forever. No bug fixes, no new features etc.

Understood. Is it this?
+ Ability to configure automated conversion of MPEG2 to WMV/XviD/DivX. WMV seems to the most reliable transcoding. xvid/divx can be quirky depending on versions of filters installed etc.

Is it a compile-time/static dependency? Do you know which dll? I have WMP10 at work due to XP and could potentially have the dll available just so GB-PVR runs (doesn't need to have that feature work).

You possibly could have got away with adding a dll in v0.94 (wmvcore.dll or something similar), but in v0.95 I'm using quite a bitmore functionality offered by windows media player, and this would no longer work.
