Hi Folks,

I can manually Hibernate my GBPVR PC (I've configured Power Options so that pressing the power button hibernates), and GBPVR does wake up from Hibernation to record shows.

However, despite setting the power options to Hibernate after a period of inactivity, it never does this. I can leave the PC on overnight, with the GBPVR GUI closed and just the recording service active, and next morning it still has not gone into Hibernation.

Is there any trick to this? Is there anything I need to do in GBPVR to enable Hibernation?

TIA,
JohnO

Wireless mouse? I found my wireless mouse use to make very small movements by itself which seem to be enough to stop the machine from auto-hibernating.

I don't get it to hibernate either. I do have a wireless mouse, but it hibernated before running GB-PVR, I also think that it did hibernate before (earlier version of GB-PVR, but also a lot of other sruff have changed as well...)

I'll try tonight to see if it hibernates if I close GB-PVR and the recording service...

Does that work for you, krypton_john?

I'll try that out when I get home from work.

Thanks

Well it worked with "hiberante-time-out" set to 5 minutes with/whitout GB-PVR/recording services.

I'll try again with my normal 1hr timeout and see what happens.
