AverTV Hybrid+FM PCI (A16AR)

Hi,
Has anyone been able to get this PCI card (AverTV Hybrid+FM PCI (A16AR))to work with GB-PVR. Tried all the BDA drivers I can find of Avermedia website.
Have correct MPEG decoders.
Any ideas. I must confess I'm fairly new to all this video/TV stuff, so excuse my ignorance.

I'm also trying to get this one working (I'm a former MVP user). It was the only card in my price bracket.

I've no idea if the PIN_ settings are correct.

I can't actually recieve Freeview, but I just want to be able to record the signal from the Composite input (input from Sky box).

So far I'm just getting the "You've no channels setup" message (despite importing from xmltv). I've not found a way to get GBPVR to scan the terrestrial channels yet.

Of course the AverTV software is enough to record programs, but it'd be nice to get GBPVR to handle it all. I'm sure a bit more fiddling will bring up a few answers.

Did you click the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button in the capture source setup?

sub, can you change my username. i hit autofill and didnlt notice it used my email address as username. can i change it please. have tried to email support by emails are rejected.

thanks for message. i've put your details in bda.ini file but haven't managed to work it yet.
i've installed DVDcreator and now have intervideo multiplexer (it's there when i use BDA mux checker), but for some reason the GB-PVR config utility keeps saying no multiplexer when i try and map digital channels to EPG.

my settings are: BDA recording plugin-select AverHybrid TV (which shows up with the addition to bda.ini file), I select Bleb EPG source and select a few channels, then i update EPG, but then when i try and map the channels i get the "microsoft MPEG-2 demultiplexer does not seem to be available..."

i'm also using the nvidia purevideo decoder as well which i thought was the MPEG-2 decoder and the DVD creator installs the multiplexer so I'm not sure what els it wants!!

getting there- in order to get rid on demultiplexer error you just need to reinstall one of the microsoft MPEG-2 demultiplexers as stated by sub:

"For some strange reason the TwinHan software deregisters the Microsoft Demultiplexer when you install their DTV software. You can reregister it by running: regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\Mpg2splt.ax"

currently stuck at another stage now. anyone out there who can help?

have managed to update EPG (i have tried it with Bleb and also using a separate xml file (created using xmltv radio times). when i the go to channel mapping stage, i get a list of the channels i've selected in EPG on left and all the channels found on my card. if i click on any of the channels on the right a window will appear with the corresponding channel (so it all seems to work OK).

i'm not sure if i'm mapping correctly? i click on one of the channels on the left and then click on the corresponding channel - it doesn;t seem to suggest they're paired after i've done this.

when i then open GBPVR utility and try and select live tv or TV guide i get error: "no channel have been set up" - please run the configuration..."

what am i doing wrong??
