Before I spend time posting logs etc. can anybody confirm that it is possible to schedule recordings using the Web interface?
If I try to schedule using one of the season options I get a web server error (index was out of range) and if I try using "once" then there is no error but nothing is scheduled. Might be connected but the web log has a lot of errors saying "capturesource not found".
I've tried the latest release as well as the latest webadmin release with no change. Searching the forums seems the imply there were issues with the cassani web server and the latest .net but nothing confirmed.

cheers
Simon

I'm using it, and I don't get the errors you have...

Thanks, I'll have to dig deeper. I've tried a fresh Windows (all windows updates including .net) and gbpvr install. Then, even if I run the web admin from the local machine using loopback I still get these problems. Oddly this includes intermittent ones - e.g. the TV guide will populate only about 25% of the time - I get the headings but no programmes the rest of the time.

Solved. Although I had tried with the Windows Firewall disabled on the GB-PVR machine and it still did not work, I found that I had to explicitly allow both GB-PVR.exe as well as the recording service in the firewall exceptions. I found this in the wiki troubleshooting section so I guess it is another case of RTFM.
