Here's a problem I'm hoping someone can help me with.

I use comskip to remove the ads on programs. So I don't know if that if part of the problem. But on a recent recording event though there were no black bars to indicate a skipped portion at the end of a recording, after the last ad break there is still some program left, but GBPVR just skips to the end and exits the recording.

This would be ok, if i could go back and view it. But after navigating all the way to the end, past that last ad break, you still can't watch the recording, you watch for about 30 seconds, then it skips to the end....the wife almost clobbered me for it!!!

I finally had to remote control to the machine and view it in something else to see the last couple of minutes.

Any ideas???

I'm on the new 95.14, but i don't think it's a new problem.

Turn off the comskip in the control panel...under the last tab.

Or watch the last 30sec in media player.

Do you think that's the only way to fix it...comskip is generally good.

Or, how about I turn this off:
delete_show_after_last_commercial=0; delete the last block if its a show and after a commercial

It was on. i wonder if eric is around, he wrote it.

That's the setting i use to avoid getting clobbered. Smile I'm sure Erik will jump in and either confirm or correct.

Sorry I missed this one.

Indeed, setting
delete_show_after_last_commercial=1
makes comskip delete the part of the show after the last commercial.
I use it becasue I use postpadding to ensure I have the complete recording.
If you set
delete_show_after_last_commercial=0
There will be no more deleting the last part.

I ended up playing with it quite a bit, downloaded a new comskip and adjusted some of the time factors (I think they're part of fuzzy logic).

I'll see how that goes...I don't comclean so I'm not loosing anything.
