Hi whenever I try to record a program either manually or through the TV Guide, the recording causes the picture to freeze and it will not record. After this occurs I try to watch live tv again but get the following message No capture source was available for you to watch the requested channel. I fix this problem by going into configuration and removing and adding the source again which is my tv card Adaptec Videoh USB 2.0. Please help. Thanks.

I'm not sure why its freezing. Can you send me you GBPVR.exe.log? Email it to me at support@devnz.com

The "no capture source available" message is trying to tell you that it cant schedule a recording at that time because the capture device is already scheduled to be in use at the requested time.

Does this make sense, or are these programmes at entirely different times? If you go into the recordings screen what recordings are listed? Are they what you expect (including times)?

Send the log over and I'll take a look, hopefully it'll contain some clues.

Hi, I will send the log file. When I go into recordings it shows all the coreect shows that I want to record. I found a way around the problem though not through recording. Since the program is always time shifting, I just could make sure I am watching the show that I want to watch and it will be recorded automatically but the thing abou doing it this way is that it won't have the correct file name. Tanks for your help.

Hi, It seems that I was mistaken about GBPVR not being able to record. While it does seem to freeze, in fact it does not freeze. I am able to exit out of live tv and cloe the program while a recording is in progress. The error message that I refered to earlier in this post only happens when a recording is in progress. My question is is this noraml? Are we not able to view our programs while they are being recorded? I discovered that the program does really record and there is no problem. It was just that the picture would freeze when a recording is scheduled to start which lead me to think that it was a bug between the program and my tv card.
