1. If I have multiple tuners, how does GBPVR decide which to use?

2. If I have multiple tuners and they have different channel lineups, how does it decide?

3. If GBPVR is to record a program using tuner2 on a channel that is available on both tuners and a recording is pendng for a channel only available on tuner2, will the conflict management part of GBPVR choose the correct tuners for each recording so everything is recorded?

I'm sorry if I did not phras that last one correctly.

Thanks,
Greg

It generally starts at the top of the list of capture sources in the config app and works it way down looking for an available tuner that has the requested channel. The rule deviates a bit for back to back recordings, since it tries to make sure padding is honoured if possible.

No it wont auto resolve this situation. There are a few other things that can trip it up also. It'll result in a conflict that you'll need to resolve manually. The logic is pretty much first in first served when it comes to booking in use of a tuner.

There are some smarts that'll try and move recordings to different devices under a few situations (like user is watching channel that is due to be used for recordings etc).
