Error with new skins

OK, I'm sure my extra dose of sinus medicine is stopping me from fixing something simple but I can't. On almost every new skin I've tried this week, I get an error. The standard Blue and XmediaLE work fine. The only thing I can think of is that it's the background image that causing it and the new skins have more than 1 choice although only one named background.jpg exists. Please point out the obvious to me.

After searching for errors, I manage to get a few fixed but can't find out what this error means nor how to fix it:

Unable to find node: /settings/SpecialElements/SpecialElement[@name="Inset"]

What's this mean?

This is some bug with the email plugin. Missing skin file or image or something like that.

What's this mean?

This can be safely ignored. Its an optional setting, and used for adding a small music visualisation window to the main menu. If its not found, its just not shown.
