closed captions while watching TV

can someone please tell me how to get closed captions working. does it work only with intervideo decoder and VMR9? i have the ATI dvd decoder and i tried with VMR9 and it doesn't seem to work. i have ati 9600pro and directx 9.0b installed. thanks.

It only works with the intervideo decoder. Unfortunately its not done %100 the same way on each decoder. I chose to implement if for the intervideo decoder because it came with the PVR250 and everyone should have access to it.

I always intended to come back and implement support for some of the other decoder, but there never seemed to be much demand.
