My PC probably doesn't have the horsepower to transcode an AVI on the fly, but a long time ago I tried and got some errors and gave up. I thought I'd give it a whirl again with the latest gbpvr (actually, the 15 build). Tried to play an AVI on the MPV and a dialog popped up on the PC screen complaining that xvidcore.dll could not be found in the path.
Should this file have been included in the new ffdshow directory? Does gbpvr require that I have something else installed?
So, I went ahead and found a copy of xvidcore.dll on the net and put it into the ffdshow directory. Tried to watch the AVI file again, this time no error, MVP eventually disconnects. I check the gbpvr directory for some kind of transcode error log file or something... there's nothing. What should I be looking for?
