New Skin: Contour

Mine here works with the Video Archiver. I would bet Torque would be happy if you skinned your favorite plug in for this theme and passed it on to him.

@daphatty, I had disabled the recording status function of the VA Panel when I thought I was finished skinning since I don't use that part, then made more changes... whoops. I'll fix it on Sunday and post just the vapanel .xml file for download to fix that. Also, the main menu doesn't scroll like some of the other skins, the selector moves up and down. Is this what you're referring to?

The selector moves as you describe, but it only shows the buttons that first appear on screen. I have more buttons than the default 7 or 8 but I cannot select them. You know how your screen shots have arrows at each end of the menu buttons? Mine install doesn't have that at all.

Did you unzip the skin file into your skin folder? After you do that you should have more options in the config app. Be advised Since this skin does not have every plug-in skinned you might have to copy the related plug-in folder from the "blue" skin.

For instance My Music is not yet supported. So I found the "My Music" folder in the Blue skin folder and copied it to the "ContourHC" skin folder. Its not skinned 100% correct but it works well enough to get you going.

Yep, I have a lot of skins in the skin folder, but the only one inthe config app is BLUE in the main screen, and in the mvp setting also.

I had this problem once before. I found that a bad folder structure was the cause of my problem. For some reason I had several levels of the contour folder when there should have only been one.

DOH, I had the folders duped, skin/contour/Contour/all of the skins.

WOOT! Glad to be of help! Now, all I want is the My series of plugins to be supported by this skin and all is well.

OK, I started re-skinning the Panel sections , and I have a working version of the VA panel + music panel for that skin

I'm polishing it up, but I have a couple questions first
1) does anyone know the list of variables the MusicPanel understands? I can't get it to display the album title, or the song duration.
2) when you use DrawText, is there a way to specify the vertical alignment of the text (kind of like VALIGN="MIDDLE" in HTML)
