cannot contact recording service

happens whenever i do anything with live tv ( viewing or recording) at the c or on the mediamvp
I already tried manually intalling the service.

You can also get this error if you're using the Direct Recording plugin, but havn't set all of the settings. Go into the settings for the capture device, and click all of the settings buttons, and make sure everything is set correctly for you machine.

If its still happens after this, email me your GBPVR.exe.log and your GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log (\windows\system32)

Thanks sub that was it. I was sure I had all the configs set but after i went through them again it started working.

Is there a way to adjust the mediamvp screen geometry? the fonts are pretty small and fuzzy and gb-pvr screens are off the edges of the tv.
