# + Skip?

I did some searching, and it said pressing the number and skip would skip ahead that many minutes. I can't seem to get that to work. Am I wrong in how to do that? I was trying inside a video file I was watching.

Yes...just tested...I pressed 5 and skip right, and just got the default skip. Tried 05, and 10 and 20...same skip.

i mean there is a skip and there is a fast forward button. By the way, what remote do you have?

In the past, it has worked for me. That said, I don't think I have tried it for a couple of months.

works for me fine, I use it all the time as I don't use comskip.

I tried both buttons, too...45 button remote.

It's the only "it's not working for me" behavior I have that I can find, which strikes me odd. I would expect an issue if I had other skip problems, timeline issues, etc. If I hold down skip/FF, it skips forward just fine.

capone, can you reproduce the problem then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe.log and gbpvr.exe-native.log?

1- You haven't by accident changed the setting from minutes to seconds in the config playback-tab.
2- I think I had the same problem and then it was cured by changing the skip - ff/rw setting in the misc-tab in the config.

2) I have it set to use skip and not ff/rw
