Unable to get two tuners recognized

So .. I guess you're saying that the fact that "Scan" doesn't work for me is not unusual. Guess it doesn't work for some tuners / cards.

It was working last time I tested, but I dont have my PVR350 in my machine at the moment, so I cant test it now (and cant be bother putting it back in my machine). I just suggested you manually add the channels as a work around, since scanning isnt critical to daily usage.

On my setup I can just type the name of the stations if the 'name' fields is highlighted.

Any ideas on how I can get that to happen for my setup (NOTE: I didn't see any "Settings" possibilities for FM Radio on the Plugins page of the Config app)?

You shouldnt have to change any settings. If I click the 'add' button to add a station, then with the keyboard I can press the down arrow (to highlight the name field) then I can just start typing. This only works with the keyboard, not a remote. If thats what you're using, then sorry I dont know.

Final question ... if I'm sitting at my computer tuned to my favorite radio station and the time for a scheduled TV recording comes up and the scheduler needs this second card (Capture Device #2) is GB-PVR programmed to end radio tuning and defer to the TV tuner, thus insuring that the scheduled recording doesn't get by-passed?

FM Radio will stop about 30 seconds before a recording is due to start.

FWIW I couldn't get any scanning to work with my PVR-500's either, and had to add channels manually.
If you have trouble inputting the channel name, you can manually edit config.xml to put them in.

Yes, many people have a scanning problem, but not with the same symptoms as described by TuckerTFT above, so I suspect the problem is something else.

The common problem is the scan will test each frequency, but not manage to detect any stations, even though you hear them go by as the scan progresses. This is because Hauppauge only implement the IAMTuner->SignalPresent() API in their drivers for some of the tuners they use. As a result, only some of the PVR500MCEs/350s/150MCEs manage to detect the stations. For the users with this, you'll either need to manually add the stations, or wait for Hauppauge to implement IAMTuner->SignalPresent() for the model of tuner used on your device.
