change all quality setting?

I found that unless I used the highest quality settings, my shows were too dark when played on my MVP. Since I have recently found how to adjust the brightness, I would like to lower all my recordings quality. Is there any way to make everything record in medium quality, no matter what I originally set it for?

TIA, I would rather not have to go through and change each reoccuring program manually. Thanks

You can restore the default recording profiles by replacing your direct.ini file with the original attached below.

Sub, lemme know if I'm on teh right track. Rather than goin through and modifying all my recordings manually and changing them to low quality...I could just alter my direct.ini so all teh settingas are teh same as low quality...right?
