I have DVD's recorded with DVD decryptor. When I play them back through GBPVR, I can only do one "command" either from the keyboard or the remote (jump ahead, FF, rewind, etc) from that point the video still plays but the program no longer responds (can't jump ahead again, stop, anything). I have to use the task manager to stop the program (it is listed as no longer responding). I don't think this was the case in earlier versions (several back, I have had the issue for a while). Anyone else have this problem? solutions? suggestions?

I really like the program, and it works well with shows recorded from TV (350) or from videos that I have made (video cam), just not the dvd's.

help.

I am having a similar problem. Using the newest version of GBPVR and trying both the Cyberlink and Default navigators, I can skip once, in the opening intro, and then I get no control from the remote or any hotkeys. The DVD continues playing, though the program crashes when I attempt to close the program. Watching in PowerDVD or MediaPlayer Classic is no problem, only occurs in GBPVR. I am using the default settings for remote with my 45 button that came with the PVR 350. I would like to get the remote to work with DVD if I can. All other plugins work fine.

This will be because your version of the Cyberlink decoder (which may also be your system default), is not compatible with VMR9. If you google for 'Cyberlink EnableVMR9' you should find details of the registry setting you need to add for VMR9 support. Alternatively, switch to using Overlay.

Sorry if this this this slightly OT.

What is the difference between VMR9 and Overlay? Is one "better" than the other or is it a compatibility thing or something else?

Google for 'VMR vs Overlay' and it should turn up a few hits.
