Hello,

Does anyone know of a fix/workaround for this...

In using Bleb for EPG, the last programme on each day does not supply an endtime or duration. However, the GBPVR TV Guide seems to handle this ok, presumably working out where the first programme of the following day comes in. However, for channels ITV2 and BBC7 it just shows the last programme of the day running for the entire day.

I've looked at the source XML files on bleb and I can't see any discernible differences between channels that work and ITV2/BBC7.

Any pointers appreciated.

Thanks,
John

Bit more info...

This is only a problem in the Web Interface. When viewing the TV Guide in GB-PVR, it shows the programmes correctly.

I have a similar issue to this again for ITV2.

When you browse to the channel in the Guide it jumps to the "Close" program and thinks this is on all day everyday.

I think this may be linked to there being two channels in bleb_channels.xml that have the name ITV2, although i haven't been able to fix it at all.

You could try Alan Birtles grabber, Ive used it with no problems for a long time now and its been much improved:

http://www.birtles.org.uk/xmltv/

It might solve your problem?

Thanks Stu, I downloaded the Birtles grabber and switched over to using the XMLTV plugin with the generated file. Looks great, gives me regional channels and fixes my bug! Big Grin

Will this still automatically update or will i need to rebuild the XML file manually?

Thanks for the replies. I'll give XMLTV a go. I was just used to using bleb since before gbpvr so stuck with it.

You can use HiP or some other scheduler to run XmltvConsole.exe, this sorted out automatically getting the listings for me.

No documentation comes with Birtles but its pretty easy to set up. There's a lovely file that comes in the help directory with it saying if you want documentation then write it yourself Smile (or something meaning about the same)

Magic!

Now have XMLTV file formed from a combination of Radiotimes and bleb, giving me ITV2 and BBC7 (properly).

Thanks again.

Alan i think you should put the grabber on the WiKi, its one of those great little apps that runs so well you forget you even have it!
