Hi,

I:

- Stopped the recording service for the old version of GBPVR
- Uninstalled the app via the Add/Remove Programs menu
- Renamed the directory containing the leftover files to gbpvr_old
- Installed version 95.16

The config app freezes (hogging all available CPU cycles) when I make changes and hit "OK". This is a problem, because the "default" capture source provided doesn't work for my system.

Anyone else seen this? Anything I can do to provide more debug info?

Hi,

I'm also seeing this but _only_ when deleting a recording source and then saving (pressing OK).

The same lockup also appears happens when going into the recording source and pressing the Empty EPG button.

I found that if I imported some TV listings from XMLTV so the channel list was not empty and then deleted the recording source, it seemed to fix the problem.

I later found out that the config app wasn't *freezing*, just taking a really stinking long time (~20 mins between hitting "OK" and when the config app would actually close out). Since I don't reconfigure my capture sources real often, it's outta sight/outta mind.....

I experienced the same yesterday while doing a new install on a new machine. I finally realized this occurred if I deleted the default capture source config initially gives you.

If memory serves config gives you a BDA source which isn't applicable to me so I deleted it and then added the appropriate one. 99% CPU everytime, which I end-tasked after about 5 minutes. When I would go back into config everything would seem to be ok with the capture sources I'd added but the one I deleted would still be there. Again, if I deleted it and hit Ok, 99% CPU until I stopped the task.

Finally, doing yet another of many wipe/new installs I realized if I just changed the capture source that config provided me by default, config would exit fine.
