If you are using the custom task version of the Appearance Manger, remove it from config.exe before unzipping the download.

For a preview read this thread
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=11611

Download to and unzip from the GBPVR program directory.

Start the download by clicking one of these urls...

This is the full Collection package
http://starling08.home.mindspring.com/Collection.zip

This is the Appearance Manager only
http://starling08.home.mindspring.com/Ap...anager.zip

Let me know how it works on the MVP.

There's a bug in button settings. If you get into it you may have to manually restart GBPVR.

For now stay away from the Buttons settings.

I'll fix it later but I have to go now.

I have to agree with Big Tom about the eyes, I can't read your web site page.

Okay, I changed the background. Thanks for the heads-up.

The Collection Appearance Manager

It's easy to change the look just by changing the skin effect...

Has anyone tried the Appearance Manager on an MVP? Does it work?

It even worked from my MediaMVP, but when the GBPVR restarted I got connected to the old menu. Had to reboot the MediaMVP to get the changes (no biggie).

I was even able to add my own background folder with my own pics, a trivial excercise I know, but the wife likes it.Smile

One little issue, when I tried to select some of the floral and pastoral backgrounds in appearance manager, I got a white screen with a red X and I had to launch task manager to kill GBPVR to get out of it. Any idea what is happening?

Great stuff!
