Renamerecording - doesn't do anything....

Hey.

Just downloaded the "Renamerecording" utility.

No matter what recorded file I run in on it just reports "No episode name found". This is on shows recorded on verious channels like Discovery, History, DR1, DR2, Eurosport etc.

That can't be right

The utility is copied to the gbpvr directory and I try to manually run it from that directory as well. I have also tried the -t option - that doesn't make any difference.

What can be wrong?

Have you got it in postprocessing.bat?
It's not a standalone app.

Can you post the log output you are getting.

Remember, the episode guide information must still be there for the show that you are trying to rename. If it can't find the guide information in GBPVR it won't be able to rename the file.

Exactly.
If the program you pick to record in the tvguide or search button doesn't have an episode name or text between the name of the program & the description of the program it won't do any thing.

For example, I record This Old House Classics. It's on 3 different channels & sometimes there is no episode text & sometimes there is.
