I have a problem when playing all mp3s in one album. If I want to stop playing a track, MVP crashes with a message "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object". It pops up with an OK button, but the whole thing freezes and I have to reset MVP Server. I'm using GB-PVR 0.95.16

Also, I have tried to send a donation for this great program, (from the link at the top of the page) but Paypal gives an error too: "Please enter an amount greater than zero. We are sorry, we are experiencing temporary difficulties. Please try again later. If this error occurred while making a payment, avoid duplicate payments by checking your Account Overview before resending a payment."

Can you fix the link? I'll be more than happy to donate.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the gbpvr.exe.log and I'll take a look.

I seem to remember the MyPictures plugin could cause this.

Just try it again later. It sounds like PayPal may been having a problem temporarily. The donate link hasnt changed in about a year, and I've been managing to get donations, so I know the link is good.

I have attched the log as requested. I removed all plugins except for Music Albums II and reproduced the error.

It seems to be the music albums plugin causing the problem:

I have received donations in the last week, but if its causing problems for you then dont worry about using the link. Just go to http://www.paypal.com site and click the 'send money' button, then send it to my email address graeme(&)devnz.com

Thanks sub,

I don't know anything about creating/editing plugins, but will start to learn.

I've installed SharpDevelop and downloaded the source. Do you have any idea what needs to be altered?

I'm off to read through the plugin tutorial now...

BTW after logging into Paypal, the link worked OK.

Keep up the good work.

One more thing:
I can't rewind or fast forward the programmes I have recorded - does gb-pvr have this function yet??

You shouldnt need to fix it yourself. Just post the problem in the 'plugins and skins' forum http://forums.gbpvr.com/forumdisplay.php?f=17 and make sure the post title mentions 'music ablums' and then hopefully the author of this plugin will help you out.

Cheers.

FF generally works for most people, but rewind is pretty crap. Most people just skip back/forward instead.
