I want to stop subtitles

Can anyone please tell me how to stop DVBT subtitles being recorded when I record TV programs as I dont want them and they are most annoying when viewing anything I've recorded.

It'll record them, but other than taking up a small amount of extra disk space they shouldnt be annoying. ie, you dont need to view them.

But how do I stop them from showing on the playback picture please

DVB-Subtitles would not normally show up during video playback unless you turn them on.

Play one of these recordings until you see some subtitles, then post the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Before you get too involved, as I watch the recorded files over my network using different PVR's is it possible to prevent the subtitles from being recorded in the first place.

Its not clear to me in the logs what exactly is happening - I'd need to add some more logging to find out how the subtitles are being activated, but you can easily make the subtitles go away by running:

regsvr32 /u "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\DVBSubtitles.ax"

No its not. It always record all the streams that make up a channel.

I'm sorry to be a pain but I ran your program and get the message
regsvr32 /u "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\DVBSubtitles.ax" succeeded
But the subtitles are still being recorded so can be seen when watching any recordings over my network.
Any further ideas please
