searchable library folders / alpha scroll

I now have a rather large collection of movies/shows recorded.
The hauppage remote scrolling is quite slow ( the keyboard is fast )
the Folder organisation is great, but with a long list, its pretty still pretty slow.

at the simplest level, just using the numbers in a 'phone like' manner ( 1=ABC 2=DEF etc ) to jump alphabetically down the list.
better would be a autocompleting popup or temporary filter
ie start typing the name & it autocompletes with the matched name

What about when the directory has been shuffled...

you mean folders ?? sorted ?
I didn't know you could sort the video folder..

The music and video screens are the same screens with different filename filter and buttons.

perhaps a context based dynamic filter
ie if you are in the video library, and you type 5,5,5, you get only listings starting with an L.
Also, It would be better to have the recordings window split into folders.
[season recordings]
[scheduled recordings]
[available recordings]
then perhaps at the root level, all the scheduled recordings/available recordings for the current

day

As I have been using the program, my list of scheduled recordings & available recordings is growing

and/or a menu option on the left of the screen to view by [date] [name] [length] etc
