I have a WinPVR150. But my channel setup is special. You see, my Dish Network reciever has two outputs, and one goes to my tv, the other to my computer. The thing is, I don't have an IR blaster, nor do I need one. I change the channelw tih my remote and it changes the channels on my computer. But, it doesn't see the input. When I do the Tuning Assistant, it find the single channel, but I can't configure it to pick it up on GB-PVR.

Can I get a step by step thing on how to set this up?

how are you connecting your dish to the pvr 150 ?

are using the RF input or the Svideo or RCA composite input ?

you need to tell gbpvr where the signal is coming into the pvr150

this is done in the gbpvr config application

where you set up the capture sources

I cant remember the exact screens as I'm at work just now

In the config application you need to add a Capture Source for "Fixed-Channel, External Tuner" and set the fixed channel to either 2 or 3, whichever your set top box outputs to. That should fix you up for using the coax input.

Reproduce the problem and attach you config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

It wont be the cause of your crash, but since you are using Dish Network, you should set it to use the zap2it epg.
