Excellent Find. Hopefully it'll be this month.

Will the new mediamvp be compatible with GBPVR, or will a code change be required?

Also, will the wireless model have a faster connection than the old model/gaming adapter setup?

Thanks!

Did you notice the paragraph below in the announcement

Wireless MediaMVP is based on an IBM PowerPC, and runs on the Linux open-source operating system, enabling it to support numerous upgrades. Current A/V connection options include S-video, composite video and RGB, plus stereo audio output and S/PDIF audio out. The MediaMVP is compatible with any PC running Windows XP.

I noticed the S/PDIF, If they made a wired one with S/PDIF I would be very interested.

I would assume the wireless one will also have an ethernet port, would seem silly to not make it do both.

I hope it has a healthy buffer for playback. I'm sure I'll get one, but only after GBPVR supports it.

Hopefully they will have a way to turn off the wireless transmission, I would not want to advertise.
