Hi,

I love GBPVR, especially since getting my new 37" HDTV Smile beam...

Anyway, since upgrading to 95.16 I noticed that occasionally the menu items completely disappear or become sluggish.

I see the following logged many times in GBPVR.exe-native:

12/01/2006 10:14:30.687 ERROR [1416] Unexpected error animating menu: System.InvalidOperationException: The object is
currently in use elsewhere.

I've seen another report on this thread but it doesn't seem to go anywhere and relates to MVP - I'm not using an MVP.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
C.

Good point. BlueMCE2. I have to admit to being pretty new to GBPVR but it looks open enough to try to work out what is going on here. I don't see the problem when using Blue.

I do get quite a few errors related to plugins such as My Music/My Pictures when using BlueMCE2, haven't really tried others - looks like I need to put my research hat on.

I'll come back if I really can't suss it.

Thanks Smile

If you open the skin's mainmenu\skin.xml file and disable animation it should help.

Yep - that sorted it, no animation but no errors and menus are responsive again. Shame because the animations are neat...

For the record though, I found the setting in config.xml under <!-- Skin settings --> <AnimateTaskTransitions>.
