Hi all
First of all, let me say GBPVR looks great.

I have the Freecom DVB-T stick up and running with the Yakumo drivers. The Yakumo TV viewer works fine.
But, with GBPVR, when I view live TV, the picture is great for about 10 second and then cliches start appearing - coloured blocks flashing on screen etc.

Any ideas?

thanks
Jon

I've been messing with the config of GBPVR.

On the Playback tab, setting the Video Decoder to Elecard, the audio to MPEG Audio Decoder and selecting Overlay Manager seems to resolve all issues.

Any ideas why?

I have also been folllowing the very useful instructions provided by Dohnuts. I have my Freecom working with the Yakumo software but am having a problem with GBPVR scanning my channels. While both the freecom and Yakumo software can find all of the UK freeview channels GBPVR's scan only finds around 8 (and not the main channels like BBC, ITV and Five).

The scan is relatitvely quick so I am wondering if the software is only scanning a limited frequency range. However I am not sure how to change this, any ideas?

In GBPVR configuration, Capture Sources. Click on your device and choose edit

Click on settings by recorder source.

Choose All Regions, All Channels.

I get a similar problem, the drivers install OK but when I configure and hit Map... the PC locks up and eventually reboots.

Which log files should I look at for info ?
Cheers,

Yep same problem here. Sometimes when I click the 'Map Channels to EPG' button it opens a 'select folder' window and hangs, other times it just hangs immediately. ShowShifter works great, so its not a BDA driver problem AFAIK.

Sub - is this caused by bad data in the EPG/Mux that you said you were going to fix for next release? I am willing to test if you wanted to send me a alpha/beta version.

This 'select folder' window is created by the ShowShifter mux. I'm not sure exactly what cause it to show this. You'll find if you using the Cyberlink mux the problem goes away.

Thats definitely causing the 'select folder' window and the resulting hang. Its not to say you dont have other problems, but this one is well known.
