No Channel List

I'm am using zap2it to get all the epg data, but for some reason, after I "update epg" in the config app, I still don't see any listing in gbpvr. I get an error message something like, "No channels have been set up. Please run the Configuration utility...."

Did you select your channel lineup on the Zap2it website? Do any channels show up in the GBPVR config app under the channels tab?

Sorry if these seem like silly questions. You didn't give much detail.

I did select channels in zap2it and they show in the config app channels list.

In the config app, I see a list of channels in the channels tab, and in the list within the "Edit Recording Source" window where I set up the zap2it connection. What should the "Recording Source" be set to? Right now it is BDA Recording Plugin.

Just a few notes. My zap2it epg data is for the Bell Expressvu system in eastern canada. I removed some of the channels from the list in zap2it, but those removals are not reflected in the gbpvr config channels tab. The channel tab simply shows all channels.

I am a noob to this pc-pvr thing, and would really appreciate some guidance. Once I get this channel listing working properly, I will need to configure my tv tuner card which happens to be a LeadTek WinFast XP2000 card.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that if you don't setup the capture source correctly then the channels won't show? Is a Leadtek supposed to be classified as a BDA device or does it have it's own profile on the pull down menu (like all the hauppauge devices)?

That LeadTek card isnt supported by GB-PVR, so none of the built-in options are appropriate.

HI - I have exactly the same problem, although I do have a supported card Hauppauge 150 PVR. (which works fine with SAGETV) Interestingly enough when I check the MS_Access gbgpvr.mdb database, the channels AND the schedules are there! The zap2it process also takes a LONG TIME @ 100% CPU.
