Pvas alternative in convert.bat (My videos)

I have some problems with danish chars. in the name of the file that i want to burn, and i want to know if somebody are using another converter than the Pvas. I have tried the mpgtx from comclean and it reads the input-file fine and it makes 2 files: .m2v and .mp2, but i think i have to end up with just one file: .mpeg for the burndvd.bat
Is this correct or an i missing something?

Are somebody using an alternative to the Pvas in the convert.bat with succes?

pva only demuxs the files, ie creates a m2v file and mp2 file.

mplex then remuxs the two files into one again. so if just change the pva.exe line to whatever, and leave the mplex line alone.

But the pva creates a mpv and a mpa, and the mpgtx creates a mp2 and a m2v. This is not what the mplex wants. The mplex uses %2 and %3 as arguments. How do i control what parameteres the convert.bat is called with:confused:

I am a bit confused....

REM %1 - the output filename (ie the file it wants)
REM %2 - mpv file (which is specified in the demux.ajb file)
REM %3 - mpa file
REM %4 - the original file you are burning

That did it. I dont think that the Mpgtx is very stable. Sometimes i makes monster-files of even very small recordings.... I am back using your bat-files with pva. I just rename(no danish chars) the recording-files, before i convert/burn them. Only problem, is that the recording is no longer in the RECORDINGS-menu?
